The Temple of God: It was designed to be a place of Love, Growth, and Learning...

The Temple of God (2)

“Where lives change and where life can begin again”

Everyone has different ideas of what the “Church” is supposed to be. Some say, “I go to

meet my friends and laugh and get together each week.” Some say, “I go because mom

and dad and grandma go to this church.” Some say, “I have always gone to this church,

isn’t that what we are supposed to do?”

The temple was designed by God to be a place of meeting for God’s people to worship

and praise Him. It was a place of learning and growing in the knowledge of God our

creator and Lord. To reference Him and adore Him. It was a place to bring our sins to the

altar and bring sacrifice to remove the heavy burdens of sin. It was the place where God

dwelt. (Exodus 25:8)

That is what we should always remember and concentrate on when choosing, attending

or remaining in a house (Temple) of God.

It should always be a place “where lives change and where life can begin again.”

God is a god of second, third, fourth and forever new beginnings. No matter how long

we have been coming to church or how often we come, our life should change every

time we enter the house of God. We come with expectation and we will get whatever we

expect. If your life has been stale or you are going in the same horrible cycle or if you

feel like hell lives in your house and walks with you all day; Jesus came to give us life

and that more abundantly! (John 10:10) Life can begin again! It starts with our decision

to choose it. You make the choice!

I choose to Love (Be like my Heavenly Father)

I choose to read, pray and meditate in God’s Word and trust him through the good

times and the bad.

I choose to go forward and not ever look back.

I choose to find a house of God that I will grow in and participate in to encourage

my faith and walk with God. And challenge me to be better.

One “foot” in front of the other, never looking back, but looking at the good future that

God has for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 (MSG)… “I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back

home. (Home is where we all started with God and will end up with God) I know what I’m

doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you

the future you hope for.”

God has not forgotten, but has a great plan for you. The Devil comes to steal, kill and

destroy. (John 10:10) Don’t be ignorant of his devices, but be wise in God’s word.

Continue to grow and learn and know who you are in Him.

I am believing that this has helped and encouraged you to go forward and obtain the

plan that God has for you. If this simple message has blessed you please consider

forwarding it to someone who you know that may benefit from an encouraging word.

If this message has blessed you, please prayerfully consider giving to further assist us as we continue to touch the lives of many people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Please use our online giving button above)
